I have been attending Lou’s Pilates classes for a few years now. I started when I moved to the village just under five years ago. I had always gone to classes previously and wanted something local.
Lou is so friendly and down to earth and the class is affectionately known as “The Crew”.
She caters for all levels and I find the Pilates both relaxing and challenging. Each exercise can go to the level you want and you set your own pace under watchful eyes.
I definitely feel I have progressed and importantly my body moves so much better.
The classes and fun and friendly and I thoroughly recommend them.

Lou is one of lifes radiators, but not only does she radiate warmth and kindness but skill and wisdom in teaching pilates, teaching you how it can help you listen to your own body and build strength and resilience.
I started classes with Lou back in 2018 after a slipped disc, cauda equina syndrome and then 2 operations to fix that after which recovery was slow. Further problems and then another slipped disc was quite soul destroying. Lou's classes have, over time, helped me finally recover well!
Classes keep me moving and pain free, in the main. As well as the physical benefits though, Lou has created classes that are great fun, we have developed great friendships and that is priceless!

I used to suffer from back pain with numbness in my mid-back and also small hernia that would flare up from time to time because my core wasn’t strong enough. I was told surgery wasn’t an option, so I decided to focus on strengthening my body instead.
Four years ago, I joined Lou’s Pilates classes — also craving some much-needed “me time” after having two babies. From the very first day, Lou and her lovely crew made me feel so welcome. Today, my back is pain-free and my core is stronger than it has ever been.
Lou is truly a wonderful person, inside and out. The classes are fun, supportive, and thoughtfully designed, with different levels and options to suit everyone, no matter their ability. The meditation at the end of each class is like the perfect cherry on top. Every class feels like a gift to both my body and my soul. Joining Lou’s crew has honestly been one of the best decisions I’ve made.

I was advised by my chiropractor that attending a Pilates class would be good for my mind and body. That was in 2018 and I have attended Louise's fabulous classes ever since. She is a extremely knowledgeable and caring person and immediately makes you feel at ease in group.
I highly recommend Louise's Pilates classes whether you are new or an intermediate. You will receive a warm welcome and never be bored.
We laugh a lot too !!
